RM Rose & Company Distillers is located in Dillard GA. You can experience the whiskey distilling business through free tastings of all products, a tour of the distillery, and browsing the gift shop. Set in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, it’s a great day trip for the whole family.
In 1865 after the American Civil War had ravaged the south, most notably the city of Atlanta, a Connecticut man by the name of Rufus M. Rose, who had enlisted as a doctor for the Confederate Army, saw incredible opportunity in Atlanta amidst the despair and ruin that can only be caused by a war of such great magnitude.
In an effort to provide the public with quality spirits that were guaranteed safe, Dr. R.M. Rose, who was an expert and recognized as the best judge of whiskey in the South, set about to open the R.M. Rose Company which until it’s doors closed due to prohibition helped set a standard for the way modern liquor manufacturers/distributors produce, advertise, and distribute their products.
In the course of his experience with the handling and distilling of fine liquors, Dr. R.M. Rose was the first to age corn whiskey unique to the region in charred oak barrels.

12 Spies Vineyards is tucked between the North East Mountains to the west and the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest to the east. The sunsets are spectacular and views from the vineyard are stunning. There are many gardens filled with gourds, pumpkins, flowers and vegetables scattered around the 9 acre property. Bring your camera and enjoy a glass of wine from the covered deck or take a relaxing walk.
The four varities of grapes grown in the 12 Spies vineyard are Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Tannat and Traminette. All of these grapes grow well in the climate and altitude of Rabun Gap, Georgia. In addition, 12 Spies searches for grapes from the best vineyards for blending and to make their Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Seyval Blanc.
We offer a range of sweet to semi-dry to dry wines. Because individual tastes vary so much, with wine there is no right or wrong. You are your own expert when it comes to preference of sweet or dry.

The Rabun Gap Flea Market is an open-air market located approximately two miles south of Dillard. We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from April to Mid-November.
Our vendors carry many lines of merchandise like antiques, clothes, rugs, produce, cosmetics and many more items of interest for curious shoppers. We also have many weekend vendors who have their yard sales here and are always welcome to come and set up with us.

Over the years Osage Farms has become a popular destination in our beautiful mountains. Nestled in the heart of the valley at 5030 Highway 441 in Rabun Gap, Osage Farms is a family owned vegetable and Fraser Fir Christmas tree farm. The vegetable market is open everyday May thru October. The market has seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables grown by Ricky and Clint James. A few of the vegetables they grow are both heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, peppers, potatoes and the sweetest corn you have ever tasted! Be sure to visit Osage Farms Produce Market in May for fresh strawberries.
As soon as the vegetable harvest is over, Ricky and Clint and their families begin to harvest Christmas trees at their Scaly Mountain, NC farm, just 9 miles from Dillard. In Scaly Mountain Osage Farms operates a “choose and cut” Christmas tree farm.
