The North Georgia Community Players (NGCP) and the City of Dillard are a perfect match. The NGCP have been in search of a home and Dillard has long hoped to establish a Cultural Arts Center in one wing of the Dillard City Hall. The two groups were able to combine their hopes when NGCP leased the auditorium and one wing of the Dillard City Hall (Old Dillard School).

At the Dillard City Hall, NGCP has several classrooms to use for storage or dressing rooms, as well as the auditorium for performances. The volunteer group, Home Improvement Ministry (H.I.M. from Clayton Baptist Church), supplies manpower to assist NGCP with auditorium updates. The stage has been extended and many repairs made. NGCP has purchased new sound equipment, an air conditioning-heating system, and new lighting to enhance the enjoyment of theatergoers. It is a work in progress and a labor of love.
